  • City of Atlanta District 3 Neighborhood Plan. The purpose of the Council District 3 Neighborhood Master Plan was to establish the vision, goals, and implementation strategies for the redevelopment of the neighborhoods within Council District 3. Upon completion, this plan was adopted by Ordinance of the City Council and approved by the Mayor of Atlanta and incorporated into the Comprehensive Development Plan. Read more about this project.

  • Seattle Public Utilities Asset Hierarchy Assessment. Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) partnered with Blue Cypress Consulting to assist their water, drainage & wastewater, and solid waste lines of business to holistically analyze utility business processes to develop an organization-wide asset hierarchy that best aligns with business needs. The resulting standardized hierarchy can now be phased into the organization over time leading to improved data querying and reporting capabilities for the organization.   • Central Iowa Regionalization Study. The Des Moines Iowa metro region was looking to better understand a cost effective and sustainable way to invest and pay for drinking water supply for the region. Through this project, the team was able to convey to a group of 15 regional stakeholders their various costs to the process. Read more about this project.

  • Clayton County Water Authority Collection System Assessment. Blue Cypress compiled and performed a review and analysis of collection system data and documents provided by the CCWA in preparation for conducting an onsite assessment of the collection system programs.   • Winston-Salem Collection System Improvements. Blue Cypress started working with CCU in 2015, when they were contracted to provide an assessment of collections systems operations. To accomplish this, the team prepared a data request and performed a brief review of the data provided by the City. A rapid on-site assessment consisting of staff interviews was also conducted.   • Fayette County Transportation and Master Path Plan. The CTP provided assistance to local governments in defining county-wide transportation needs, goals, and priorities. Likewise, the MPP assists in defining local transportation goals, priorities, and operating and maintenance standards but more specifically catering to the needs of community’s pedestrians, bicyclist, and Personal Transportation Vehicles (PTVs).   • Jackson County Transportation Plan. The Jackson County Transportation Plan will create a multi-modal plan for the next 25 years that focuses on improving the County’s transportation network. Blue Cypress Consulting is responsible for Community Outreach and Engagement throughout the life of the project which consists of both online engagement and community events.
