GIS Services

Since our founding, GIS has been intrinsic to our work. We offer our clients a range of optimal and effective GIS services to support varied geospatial needs, including:

  • GIS Needs Assessments

    • Typically involve evaluating an organization's spatial data requirements, including the types of geographic information needed, desired data formats, and intended applications. This process often includes analyzing current data sources, identifying gaps or deficiencies, and determining strategies for acquiring or improving datasets to meet specific organizational objectives. Ultimately, assessments aim to align GIS data resources with the operational and analytical needs of the organization, optimizing efficiency and effectiveness in decision-making processes.

  • Geospatial Analysis

    • Essential for optimizing infrastructure management and ensuring efficient service delivery. Example analyses includes stormwater basin delineation, water main break trending, sanitary sewer overflow spatial risk analysis, service complaint heat mapping, and consequence-of-failure analysis to identify areas of infrastructure improvement, predict potential hazards, and optimize resource allocation. This analysis supports visualizing complex data, modeling scenarios, and making informed decisions to understand system performance, mitigate risks, and improve overall system resilience.

  • App Development

    • Web- and mobile-applications based on an organization’s existing GIS improve efficiency, help mitigate duplicative data entry, and help visualize the wealth of geospatial data collected by an organization. Whether utilizing the Esri suite of tools, such as Field Maps, Survey123, Dashboards, Esri Insights, or other GIS software, web- and mobile-apps help support mobile data collection by field crews to support a structured cleaning program, public engagement and complaint tracking via GIS-enabled surveys, as well as linking tabular and geospatial data through visualizations to support planning and scheduling of preventative maintenance or reporting on key metrics or KPI.

  • Training

    • Trainings may be tailored to various skill levels, from beginners seeking an introduction to GIS tools to advanced users aiming to support specific workflows with more in-depth analysis or field data collection tools.
