About This Project

The Fayette County Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) and Master Path Plan (MPP) project was composed of two transportation projects that were conducted concurrently due to their common geography, targeted population and overlapping goals and challenges. The CTP provided assistance to local governments in defining county-wide transportation needs, goals, and priorities. Likewise, the MPP assists in defining local transportation goals, priorities, and operating and maintenance standards but more specifically catering to the needs of community’s pedestrians, bicyclist, and Personal Transportation Vehicles (PTVs).
