About This Project

Jefferson County Environmental Services (County) collects, transports, and treats sanitary sewage for almost half a million residents in Jefferson County, Alabama. Blue Cypress Consulting was contracted to support Jefferson County’s collection system asset management program. Over multiple years, Blue Cypress has increased the County’s capacity to utilize data, understand and meet strategic objectives, and empower staff to employ asset management principles in day-to-day operations.
